MAPUCHE MUSEUM

The museum opened its door to the public in 1977, with the purpose of paying homage to the culture of the Mapuche's people, guarding their valuable ancestral heritage.
The museum has a collection of about 1400 objects, including tools, symbols of power, household utensils, ceremonials objects, clothing, among other objects.
It is important to highlight the sacred place where Mapuches Wiseman met to hold ceremonies together since their ancestors, at certain times of the Mapuche calendar. In addition, the visitor will be able to enjoy the landscape offered by the location of the museum, in front of the cordillera of Nawebulta.
